Crocodiles

This snappy San Diego group will take you on an 80s indie ride of guitar distortian and fuzzy electronics. They rapidly gained exposure in 2008 after fellow Southern California alt-rock band No Age included their single "Neon Jesus" in a list of the year's best songs. Crocodiles lift elements of noise guitar heroes Jesus & Mary Chain and Spacemen 3, then combine it with the retro synths of Suicide. The end result is one giant wall of lo-fi sound.
