Tamino is a half-Egyptian, half-Belgian artist who lives in Antwerp and Amsterdam. His debut EP was not only a showcase of his impressive vocal range, but also an impressionistic tableaux of his many moods and talents. The young Belgian has so far delivered songs that are introspective yet bold, otherworldly yet firmly grounded in tradition, electrifying yet embalmed in finesse. You sense that winning the Studio Brussel talentpool Nieuwe Lichting and selling out shows in Belgium and The Netherlands are harbingers of Tamino's very promising future.
