Federico Albanese’s compositions are airy and cinematic, blending classical music, pop and psychedelia. Once a prop man on film sets, he now collaborates with filmmakers and creatives, scoring documentaries, shorts and feature films with his shimmering original works. His highly acclaimed debut solo album, The Houseboat and the Moon out on Denovali Records, is evocative of fellow Italian Ludovico Einaudi, but with an innovative technical edge.
