Crosscut Saw is a three-piece blues and roots band based in Yorkshire. The band consists of Alex Eden (lead singer, guitarist and harmonica player), Richard Ferdinando (drummer) and Richard Green (bass player). They draw inspiration from artists such as Magic Sam, RL Burnside, Taj Mahal and Dr John. Their performances are known for their raw energy and unpredictability, with no two shows being the same. They hold a monthly residency at the Duck & Drake in Leeds and have played at major festivals such as the Great British Blues Festival and Tenby Blues Festival. The band has collaborated with various blues musicians, including TJ Norton, Paddy Wells and The Haggis Horns. They’ve also worked as a backing band for artists like Jake Walker (USA) and King Rollo (UK). Doors and bar open 7.30pm.
