Carmen the Musical

Carmen is one of the most popular operas of all time, and this accessible yet audacious reimagining of Bizet’s masterpiece is a treat for both lovers of opera and musical theatre alike.

Performed in English, Carmen The Musical tells the ever popular story of tragic factory girl Carmen, torn by her passion for both soldier Don Jose and toreador Escamillo.

Every one of Bizet’s unforgettable themes, from the famous Toreador’s Song to the Habanera (Love is a Rebellious Bird) and Seguidilla (Down by the Walls of Seville) are included.

This amateur production is presented by arrangement with Music Theatre International on behalf of Josef Weinberger Ltd.
