Night In The Canyon - American Songbook Show

The canyon in question is Laurel Canyon in the Hollywood Hills of Los Angeles and centre of the late 60s counter-culture and tonight will be an homage to the golden age of American music.

“A Night In The Canyon” brings together an unrivalled collective of award-winning artists in their own right, namely Robbie Cavanagh (Winner of the Whispering Bob Harris Emerging Artist Award 2023), Eddy Smith (“a heady blend of soul, blues and rock” ~ Blues Matters), and Jana Varga (Emerging Artist nominee, British Blues Awards 2023).

The Bear doesn’t really do tribute acts. Featuring the timeless songs of James Taylor, Carole King, Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, Buffalo Springfield, The Eagles, Joni Mitchell and many more, this is not a tribute show in the traditional sense of the word, but more the artists themselves performing their own takes, both individually and collectively, on these timeless classics of the late 60s/early 70s American songbook.
