The Barbican Quartet reached audiences across Europe thanks to its First Prize-winning performance in the hotly contested 2022 ARD International String Quartet Competition. Its latest Wigmore Hall programme places two exquisite landmarks of the 20th-century string quartet repertoire together with Rebecca Clarke’s elegiac Poem, composed a century ago and only recently rediscovered.

The Barbican Quartet, an acclaimed and exciting young ensemble, are winners of several prizes including first prize at the 2019 Joseph Joachim International Chamber Music Competition.
