Formerly known as the Bulgarian State Radio & Television Female Vocal Choir, this Grammy Award-winning group was created in Bulgaria in 1952 by Philip Koutev. It continues to perform songs that combine folk melodies with sophisticated harmonies and compelling rhythms.
