Bringing in the New Year a day late has become a tradition at the Vortex since 2009. A welcome relief from the hustle and stress of most NYE parties - this one just wants you to relax, enjoy the music and ease yourself into the New Year with good company and normal prices!
Music will be led by jazz violin virtuoso Piotr Jordan, with Paul Moylan on double bass, Zac Gvirtzman on piano/accordion/clarinet, Charlie Wheatley on guitar. Gina Boreham on vocals.
You can expect jazz, blues, Eastern European and Gypsy folk, tango, Klezmer. As usual we will count down to "midnight" with the special Procrastinators' Clock (in good time to catch your trains).
