This is a Social party to show our Social love for our friend Keith McIvor aka Optimo's JD Twitch and to raise money for the Love2JDTwitch Fundraiser.
The outpouring of love after the news of Keith's illness meant the original fundraiser target was smashed in days. This money has already helped to provide urgent care for Keith who has recently been diagnosed a terminal brain tumour (glioblastoma). All extra money raised will be going to some charities very close to Keith's heart; Glasgow NW Foodbank, Coalition for Racial Equality and Rights (CRER), Brains Trust and Taki's Shelter, Crete.
Join us in the basement for a night soundtracked by very special guest DJs, Jarvis Cocker, Joe Goddard from Hot Chip, Jeff, Danny and Daisy from the Heavenly Jukebox and more still to be confirmed.
Joe Goddard (Hot Chip)
Hot Chip member, one of the 2 Bears, producer, DJ, Grammy nominated remixer and multi-instrumentalist. His material takes you on a journey through disco, house and electro. Like Four Tet, Caribou and Jamie xx, Joe combines a thirst for experimentation, an instinctive understanding of the dancefloor and a love of left-of-centre pop music.

Jarvis Cocker
Jarvis Cocker was at the heart of the 90s Britpop scene as frontman of Pulp, who released four albums during the decade, most notably 'His 'n' Hers' and 'Different Classes'. One of the 'common people', Jarvis' wry observations on sex, drugs and love and the famous stage invasion during Michael Jackson's performance at the 1996 Brit Awards has safely assured his place in pop's hall of fame. Beyond Pulp, he has directed music videos for Aphex Twin and Nightmares On Wax, and performed under the name Darren Spooner. He released two solo albums for the Rough Trade label, released a book of Pulp lyrics called 'Mother, Brother, Lover', recorded and performed with pianist Chilly Gonzales and for several years was the soundtrack to Sunday afternoons on BBC 6Music. His latest incarnation is under the moniker of JARV IS...
