Retrowaves is the brainchild of Dutch duo Jasper and Berend, childhood friends turned dancefloor alchemists. With a musical journey that began at just six years old—Jasper behind the drums, Berend wielding the trumpet—their sound is as rich and dynamic as their instrumental repertoire, spanning piano, guitar, bass, cajon, and marimba. Since officially launching Retrowaves in 2022, they’ve been on a mission to fuse surf-infused electronic sounds with house music, crafting a sound that’s sun-drenched, euphoric, and primed for movement.
