Formed by visionary producer DJ Vadim, poetic force Yarah Bravo, and lyrical firebrand Blu Rum13, One Self emerged in 2005 as a bold new voice in alternative hip-hop. Their sole release on Ninja Tune, Children of Possibility, quickly became a cult classic – fusing conscious lyricism and soul-drenched melodies with jazz, reggae, dub, flamenco, and global underground rhythms.
