Welsh duo TangleJack make their debut London appearance at The Harrison on Thursday 7th August with guests The Gillies.
TangleJack took its current form and name in 2013 when old friends and bandmates John-Paul Davies and Duncan Leigh began to perfect the two-part harmony and double guitar duet style that is now the duo?s signature sound. Currently, TangleJack are promoting the release of their critically acclaimed new album The Ragged Edge.John-Paul and Duncan captured the intimate recordings themselves in post-lockdown sessions that were filled with contemplation and optimism, producing songs that are challenging yet life-affirming.
The Gillies are an Americana, Folk singer/songwriter duo from SE London. Their music tells of love, loss, bittersweet and harsh realities, the distinctive sound of their acoustic guitars create an intense lonesome dark musical style.

The Gillies are an Americana /Folk influenced acoustic duo based in South East London, Susan Turner and Mark (Gilly ) Evans.They are influenced by artists such as Gillian Welch and Dave Rawlings. Their sound is a weaving together of steel-strung and tenor guitars, with understated melodies which pull you into their haunting songs.
