Ayo Bamidele is a singer songwriter that has often been compared to artists such as the late Richie Havens, Terry Callier and Bill Withers. His music covers life's loves, joys and challenges. He writes songs of social concern and matters of the heart. Many of his songs reflect his deep interest in self-improvement and personal development. Melody Maker Magazine described it as "music for grownups". He has a distinctive soulful voice and an innovative self-taught guitar style. He has released 19 solo albums to date.

He has recently recorded two albums with producer Brendan Lynch 2024’s The Master Tapes and this year’s The Recorder, (August 2025). Brendan is known for his work with Paul Weller, and the albums Wildwood and Stanley Road, with songs like You Do Something to Me, Broken Stones and Wildwood.

Ayo Bamidele is an independent singer songwriter that performs his own unique blend of soul and folk. He has an emotive soulful voice and a distinctive innovative self- taught guitar style. His songs cover matters of the heart and all life’s loves losses, challenges and joys.
