Ora The Molecule is a multinational Avant-garde pop music group, creating an unexpected sound between timeless nostalgia, smooth pop and retro electronica. This is a new sound to the Pop music landscape with emotional Calypso tinged melodies, still always irresistible danceable. Inspired by Suzanne Vega, Kraftwerk, Fleetwood Mac and the Spanish band Mecano. Growing in up Norway, Nora Schjelderup (lead vocal, guitar) started the band in LA after spending time connecting with her American biological father and working as a songwriter. There she met German synthesise player/producer Jan Blumentrath and drummer Sju Smatanova. The band now live together in the Andalucian Mountans of Spain.
