VÆB

VÆB are brothers Matthias and Halfdan Matthiasson, who have been involved in music since a young age and come from a truly musical family. In 2022, the brothers formed the band VÆB after posting a video on TikTok with a "joke-song" that attracted so much attention on social media that they decided to release it on Spotify. They released a few more songs, and in 2025 they competed in the Söngvakeppnin (the Icelandic pre-selection for Eurovision) and won the competition by a landslide, both in the public and jury vote, with the song RÓA (Row).
