The Skapones ? the premier punky ska combo from the North East- in fact, the premier punky ska combo in the UK! Not overly reliant on the usual 2 tone covers (although you will get some Specials bangers) these chaps have an amazing array of fabulous self composed material- and a myriad of ace releases on which said songs appear.
They also feature some really interesting left field covers skanked up to perfection- Two Tribes for instance!! And you can?t beat a Saturday night Dublin Castle happening to showcase this group?s incredible talents. Party time, with a conscience. Brilliant nite out.
The Rough Kutz ? ?High octane 2 tone inspired ska?, not many Benny, rocking up a proper Fuck Art Let?s Dance atmosphere. Perfect openers. Great band.

The Skapones
The Skapones are a new ska band based in the Tees Valley in England, featuring members and former musicians from The G Men, The Ska Beats, Major Accident and The Matics, along with the UK's No.1 tribute to Elton John on keyboards. The seven piece ensemble got together to play a music that they all love, and the chaps intend to perform a selection of 2 Tone anthems and other foot stomping tunes, with the objective of making you dance and smile.
