Archie Kidd Quartet

Archie Kidd is a guitarist and composer from the North East of England, now based in London. Leading his quartet featuring Lior Solomons-Wise (piano), Edouard Le Feuvre (double bass), and Lester Ridout (drums), his original music combines empathetic harmony with enticing melodic content, underlined by a distinctive compositional and improvisational voice. Whilst pursuing a contemporary and eclectic sound, the music remains grounded in jazz tradition, offering introspective atmospheres and engaging interplay, alongside familiar idioms of the past.
