About the show
Electronic Drone Choir Duo + Harmonium-Driven Dark Folk + Anarchist Song. The Intersection of Ritual & Protest. LIMITED TICKETS ON SALE NOW
NYX (UK/NZ)
London-based collective NYX work at the intersection of choral music and electronic music performance. Led by music director Sian O’Gorman (voice/electronics), their work explores connections between the body, architecture, and nature to create music that bridges the ancient and the futuristic. Sian is joined by AJ Turner (violin/electronics) for this, the first London performance as a stripped back but no less expansive duo, since 2024.

ANCIENT HOSTILITY (LIVERPOOL)
Simon Barr (Dawn Ray'd) and Ash Ludd (All In Vain) play a music based in tradition that refuses to be retrospective, instead signal boosting the struggles that we face in the here and now. Finding harmony in contrast, relief in honesty, and hope in the darkness.

Featuring
NYX
NYX is a collaborative drone choir and otherworldly electric chorus, re-embodying live electronics and extended vocal techniques. An experiential exploration of ambient, noise & electronic music, NYX makes ambient and ecstatic sonic landscapes, punctuated with acoustic glitching, polyphonic overtone and electric textures. ‘NYX are incredibly skilled technicians, merging visceral, scratching vocals with live electronic manipulation as they stand at their mixing desks. The layers of powerful, stinging voices, the costumes, the choreography and the strobe lights: the show has total command over its audience’ - The Quietus
