PBUG, the UK’s hottest new Funk sensation, are at the forefront of the New Wave of Funk & Soul. Since forming in 2008 the band has been taking the UK Funk scene by storm, building its loyal fan base and sweeping reviewers off their feet in a blitz of energy, showmanship and ferocious musical talent. In 2013 they were nominated for “Best Live UK Show Of The Year” at the UK’s “Jazz FM” Awards. Last year the band released their rst album “Stand Up” in Japan, to rave reviews. This October an expanded version of “Stand Up” will be released in Europe, digitally, on CD and on vinyl! The band is led by star drummer Pete Ray Biggin, the band’s MD and predominant songwriter – a drummer of cult status as a member of the drummerworld.com elite, and a regular performer with bands including Level 42, Incognito, Amy Winehouse, Chaka Khan, Lalah Hathaway and Mark Ronson.
