Nik Bartsch's Ronin

SPIN marks the ninth release from the long-standing ensemble RONIN since their formation in 2001, and the first to feature new bassist Jeremias Keller, who joined the group in 2020. Known for their refined ear for chamber music-like nuance - blending tones, ghost notes, and micro-phrasing - the band continues to bring a fresh energy to both their live performances and recordings. With this release, RONIN crafts a tighter, more cohesive sound that subtly weaves in elements of indie, post-rock, and ambient pop.
