Jason Palmer Quartet

Trumpeter Jason Palmer, one of his generation’s most celebrated players and composers, brings a top-tier US quartet to perform music from 2023 live album The Cross Over: Live in Brooklyn. The band features renowned tenor saxophonist Mark Turner, whom Palmer praises as “one (if not the) single most imitated, never duplicated tenor saxophonist in this music.” With over forty albums as a sideman and thirteen as a leader, Palmer has played alongside jazz legends including Roy Haynes, Herbie Hancock, Wynton Marsalis, and Ravi Coltrane. Based in Boston, his quintet has been the house band at Wally's Jazz Café for fifteen years.
