hoshii is the latest project by acclaimed saxophonist Kuba Wi?cek, who blends jazz with hip-hop and alternative music. The band features pianist Grzegorz Tarwid, bassist Max Mucha, and drummer Mi?osz Berdzik. Their music tells the story of an entity from the planet Versus, seeking new experiences on Earth and eventually gaining acceptance. Downbeat magazine sees Kuba as a future shaper of jazz, alongside Shabaka, Yussef Days, and Joel Ross.
