Fabiola Mendez

Fabiola Méndez, a Puerto Rican cuatrista and Emmy-nominated composer, explores her culture and identities through music. She began playing the cuatro at six and graduated from Berklee College of Music as the first to use the Puerto Rican cuatro as her main instrument. Fabiola aims to share and celebrate the cuatro and folk music. She has received numerous awards, including the Quincy Jones Award and the ASCAP Foundation Lucille and Jack Yellen Award 2022
