Acantha Lang

Acantha Lang is a Soul singer born & raised in New Orleans. Since moving to London, she’s been making big waves in the Soul/Funk scene. Acantha’s acclaimed 2021 debut ‘Sugar Woman’ EP was selected by Soul Tracks as their featured album of the month upon its August 2021 release & also earned her The New Artist of the Year Award for the 2021 Soul Tracks Readers' Choice Awards with the title track landing on Spotify’s Best Retro Soul Songs of 2021. Her debut single ‘He Said/She Said’ gained praise from Craig Charles (BBC 6Music Funk & Soul Show) who distinguished Acantha as "brilliant… an independent artist destined for world domination" in a recent interview for Blues & Soul Magazine. The single also appears on his recent compilation album, The Craig Charles Trunk Of Funk Vol. 2. She is also an accomplished songwriter penning a song (Gonna Be All Right) on Robert Randolph (and The Family Band) 2017 Grammy-nominated album ‘Got Soul’. She has already built a dedicated legion of fans online through her ‘Standing On The Shoulders Of…’Soul series, (over 5.3 million views across Instagram, YouTube, TikTok), 41,000+ TikTok followers, over combined 800,000 streams). Acantha has a sound all her own, while still giving a respectful nod to the Soul legends of the past.

Beverley Skeete

Beverley started her professional life recording and releasing singles on a small label called Elite Records. Her soulful voice created a stir at a time when most soul singers came from America. DJs such as Robbie Vincent and Tony Blackburn supported her and played her records gaining her a reputation as a singer to be reckoned with. In 1996 Beverley would finally have her first hit as featured vocalist on the Gat Decor single "Passion"- performing on Top of the Pops as an artist in her own right. Beverley has worked with artists such as Chaka Khan, Dusty Springfield, Dave Gilmour, Will Young, The Eurythmics, Annie Lennox , Soloman Burke, Ben E King, Buddy Guy, Barry White and many more.
