It's impossible to ignore the Afrobeat influences and soulful groove that combine to create the jazz guitar sound of Femi Temowo. The former Musical Director for Amy Winehouse has also worked with Omar, Soweto Kinch and has recently collaborated with Zena Edwards. Beautifully crafted solos and versatile jazz fusion mixing many of his influences, including George Benson with Fela Kuti, set the musical bar high for this great guitarist looking forward to a bright future as a solo artist. Guitarist and composer Femi is long time collaborator of Soweto Kinch and formerly Amy Winehouse. He has recently been developing his own compositions in a fusion of modern jazz and early Yoruba folk music.
