Roxette

Roxette is a Swedish pop rock duo originally consisting of Marie Fredriksson and Per Gessle, both of whom were already established musicians in Sweden prior to the band's formation. The band enjoyed a hugely successful career over three decades selling over 54 million records and becooming Seden's second best selling act after ABBA. Sadly Marie died in 2019 at the age of 61 and the following year Roxette's longtime drummer also passed away. In 2024 Gessle announced the reformation of the band with Lena Philipsson taking over on lead vocals.
