!Forward Russia!

!Forward Russia! were a progressive dance post-punk four-piece from Leeds whose fractured and percussive guitar stabs are cradled by the most pounding rhythm section imaginable.

The band was formed in 2004 when Tom Woodhead and Rob Canning, formerly of Black Helicopters, joined siblings Katie Nicholls and Whiskas and they went on to tour incessantly and release music until they split in 2014.

In 2026 they announced a reunion tour for 2027 to mark the 20 year anniversary of their cult classic debut, 'Give Me A Wall'.
