Following his Oscar and BAFTA-winning score for The Brutalist, composer Daniel Blumberg will perform as part of the Barbican’s programme at Milton Court Concert Hall on 8 February 2026 for an exclusive concert presenting music from Mona Fastvold’s forthcoming film The Testament of Ann Lee.

The film tells the extraordinary story of true legend Ann Lee (portrayed by Amanda Seyfried), founder of the Shaker movement which championed radical beliefs like gender and social equality in the 18th century. Revered by her followers, Ann Lee’s rapturous quest to build a utopia unfolds through a blend of song, movement and up-close character storytelling.
