This is the official bio for my brand-new show You Paid for This. Not to be confused with any of the fake ones out there. I had to write this bio myself, which really threw my morning plans. I thought coming up with the title was the hard part, but writing a 150 word biography about a comedy show I haven’t performed yet is really hard. It’s called You Paid for This, and yes, I’m aware you likely haven’t actually paid yet. It’s what we call in the biz “presumptive selling” - a bold, but risky move. The show does what the title suggests, presuming you buy a ticket. I can’t promise much beyond an hour of jokes, sponsored by you. You haven’t paid yet, but we both know it’s only a matter of time. See you there! Damn it, 143 words. 

Nazeem Hussain has fast become one of the biggest stars of Australian comedy and a much-loved television and radio personality. 

A regular on international stages, Nazeem has performed around the globe, including sell-out seasons at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, London’s Soho Theatre, all across New Zealand, Paris, Belgium, China, Singapore, Malaysia, the US (including opening for Dave Chappelle).
