Essex Jazz Collective

The EJC band was founded as a musical family with a passion for mainstream jazz [Swing, Latin, Bebop/HardBop, Blues] repertoire of public-appealing & technically demanding tunes, but also with the intention to add a twist to traditional jazz music.

This collective of seasoned jazz musicians is based in the vibrant regions of Essex and Hertfordshire, united by our love for jazz and an eagerness to explore its boundless possibilities. Our ensemble is known for our innovative takes on jazz standards, swing rhythms, and the intricate melodies of Bebop. We aim to share our passion for jazz with audiences far and wide. We enjoy performing in a range of venues, from Art Galleries to Theatre Foyers, Pubs & Restaurants to Function Venues, and Stately Homes to Festivals.
