Warrington-Runcorn New Town Development Plan

The brainchild of Gordon Chapman-Fox, the brilliantly named Warrington-Runcorn New Town Development Plan have to date released three albums of that pay homage to the brutalist beauty of Cheshire’s designated new towns of Warrington and Runcorn.

Sulk Rooms is Thomas Ragdale, a Yorkshire based composer whose music draws the link between euphoric electronica and smoke engulfed drones. Slow-morphing textures sequence and cascade, encapsulating intimate moments of colliding sound amongst fluttering arpeggios and transcending synth builds.

A'Bear is a multi continental psychedelic electronic musician, composer and DJ making riffy cosmic polyrhythms weaved between melodic dreamy layered loops. South African born, Australian raised, and London grown - Janine A’Bear’s music production has garnered local and international attention. Her hypnotic live synth club sets have been performed as special guest locally and Internationally since 2017 alongside artists including Jana Irmert, electric indigo, AJA, Christopher Chaplin, Lia Mice, Loraine James, Loula Yorke, Jo Johnson, Renick Bell, Bass Clef, Kavus Torabi and Steve Davis, Gnoomes, Rocket Recordings events, Wire magazines 400th issue celebrations, Gum Takes Tooth, Lone Taxidermist aka Natalie Sharp, Bex Burch,Mariam Rezai and Microcorps aka Alexander Tucker of Grumbling Fur.
