A soulful pop singer-songwriter from Oxford but based in London with heartfelt lyrics, gravelly vocals and rocky guitar riffs. Rhys Lewis takes his influences from the soul greats Al Green, Marvin Gaye and The Temptations, along with the classic smooth pop of James Taylor. He began playing Franz Ferdinand and Arctic Monkeys covers at open mic nights while trying to scrape a living washing up and serving food in Oxford pubs and canteens, then suddenly found himself signed to the prestigious Decca label and shot straight to no.1 on the Spotify viral chart with his breakthrough track 'Waking Up Without You'.
