Sensational guitar playing, evocative singing, and unforgettable storytelling. The brothers Brendan and Declan Murphy give an uplifting account of their early life growing up on the Irish border during the Troubles. The show draws on their latest albums Crescent Nights and Sugar Island as well as a selection of their Irish hits which span over 30 years beginning with their award-winning debut Songs For The Tempted.
The 4 Of Us
The musical career of Newry-born brothers Brendan and Declan Murphy the songwriting nucleus of The 4 of Us spans more than a decade. They shot to early fame with their debut Songs For The Tempted, which featured the massive hits Mary and Drag My Bad Name Down. The follow up Man Alive made Q magazines prestigious Top 50 albums of 1992 and included the UK Top 30 song She Hits Me.
