The Marama Cafe Band

Gypsy hotclub jazz, a mix of British, French and Romanian musicians who started playing together in 2000 as accompanists for the Romanian singer Ileana Rozavlea. Since then they have developed their own style which includes modern and inventive interpretations of Gypsy Swing, French Café Music and Chanson and East European folk as well as original arrangements of Benny Goodman tunes and their own arrangements.
