A special triple-bill of soulful acoustic music and storytelling exploring transformation and connection. Matreya - remembered as one of The X Factor’s most memorable contestants - makes his London debut under his new name, joined by atmospheric alt-pop artist Becca James and “deliciously soulful” (BBC) soul/blues troubadour Samuel Ashton.
Matreya
Matreya - formerly known as Mason Noise - was one of The X Factor’s most memorable and headline-making contestants. Having stepped away from the industry to become a Reiki healer, he re-emerged in 2025 with his debut single Eagles. With smooth, R&B-flavoured vocals, a signature falsetto, and a commanding stage presence, Matreya brings both intimacy and intensity to the stage.

Becca James
Becca James is a London-based spiritual alt-pop artist-writer and co-producer whose music weaves together threads of folk, electronic, and soul to create immersive, emotionally resonant sonic worlds. With soulful vocals and poignant lyricism, she explores themes of trauma, identity, recovery, and transformation; both personal and collective.

Samuel Ashton
Samuel Ashton burst onto the music scene in Kent with a sold-out release show for 2019's debut release "Spreading Light" showcasing his soulful voice and powerful message of love and hope. His new record has brought together a talented team of musicians from all over the world culminating in a sound that echoes classic soul and modern soul influenced artists such as The Teskey Brothers with whom Samuel shares New York based trombone player Ernest Stuart on title track "Breathe Easy"; to a sound that takes you deep into the pine forests with the mythical imagery of the country tones of the EP's closing track "Rea" made ever more authentic by the haunting sound of Spanish sessionist Monica Viñoly's violin.
