Join an uplifting group drumming workshop.
This fun, hands-on session is open to all levels, from complete beginners to experienced players. You’ll explore rhythm, coordination, and ensemble playing in a relaxed and inclusive setting.
Bring your own hand drum if you have one, or use one of ours. No prior experience is needed — just bring your enthusiasm and a sense of rhythm!
Led by the Elephant Drums collective, London’s leading team of drum tutors and workshop leaders, this is a fantastic opportunity to learn new skills, meet other drummers, and experience the joy of group percussion.
Adults and older teens welcome (under 18s must be accompanied by an adult).
Drums of the World
Drums of the World (Elephant Drums) Elephant Drums is a London-based drum teaching collective whose Drums of the World series brings global rhythms to life in a group workshop format. These sessions are built for connection through percussion — guided, accessible, and full of discovery. Each workshop focuses on rhythmic traditions from across the globe, blending structure and creative improvisation. Beginners are welcome and supported with step-by-step instruction, while more experienced players can deepen their skills and contribute to the group’s energy. Drums are provided (or you’re welcome to bring your own). Whether you’re curious to try something new or want to expand your rhythmic vocabulary, Drums of the World offers a space to learn, play and enjoy the collective power of drumming together.
