DJ Lag
DJ Lag, from Durban, South Africa, is the pioneer of one of the most exciting new underground sounds around – ‘gqom’, meaning ‘hit’ or ‘drum’ in Zulu. Lag uses a heady punch of hip-hop samples over South African tribal drums to style his sound. As the genre has gone from strength to strength, Lag has seen himself burst onto the UK scene – with a game changing year in 2018 summarising his remarkable rise.

Coming from a musical background DJ Supa D started djing at the age of 13. He has evolved from genres such as Jungle, Garage and House music where he has been engrossed since 2003 to present day.
