Grupo Revelacao is probably one of the most successful band of Samba Pagode in Brazil. The Grupo began its career in the suburbs of Rio de Janeiro releasing successful albums throughout Brazil, such as Revelação, Virou Religião, and Ao Vivo No Olimpo, Novos Tempos, Ao Vivo – Na Palma da Mão, Velocidade da Luz, Aventureiro, and the DVD Ao Vivo No Morro, establish them as one of the great Brazilian bands of the time.
