Inspired by the legendary LA Comedy Store nights, 420 is a rolling showcase of talent where the comedy does all the talking. Sharp, punchy, and expertly curated by the Camden Comedy Club, this is how stand-up should be: raw, hilarious, and straight to the funny.

Nathan Cassidy
Nathan Cassidy is a multi-award winning comedian and star of Amazon Prime Comedy Specials 'Observational', 'Fifty' and 'Bumblebee'. Nathan was the only live performer at the Edinburgh Fringe 2020, and his show Bumblebee was a total sell out at the Edinburgh Fringe 2021 and was nominated for 3 awards in 2021 including an Off West End Stage Award. Nathan picked up the Best Standup Award at the Brighton Fringe 2022 and 2023 and was nominated for Best Standup at the Buxton Fringe 2022, 2023 and 2024. In 2024 he was also nominated for best show at the Shaftesbury Fringe and won the Pegasus Award for Best Comedian at the 2024 Edinburgh Fringe. He gigs and headlines all over the country, he is resident MC at multi Time Out Critics Choice The Rat Pack stand-up comedy and has recently performed shows in Germany, Ireland, Portugal and France. He is also the founder of the ISH Edinburgh Comedy Awards. Over the last few years he has appeared regularly on BBC Radio. 'The best show at this year's Fringe... Michael Shafar
Since leaving a career in law for comedy, Michael has been working hard to win his mother's forgiveness, and has (somewhat) achieved that, having performed around Australia, New Zealand, Asia, the US and on international waters. From 2015-2016 he hosted Channel 31's satirical news show The Leak and developed the viral sensation Round Squares, a satirical webpage and web series that has reached millions of Australians. In 2016, Michael reached the RAW Comedy National Grand Final, represented Australia in the Laugh Factory's Funniest Person in the World Competition and toured across Asia, headlining at some of the continent's largest comedy clubs. He also developed, produced and hosted the showcases Melbourne Comedy's Rising Stars and 3 Course Comedy, which continue to sell out shows. 2017 was another huge year for Michael, selling out his entire season and extra show of Jewish-ish at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, selling out shows at Sydney Fringe Comedy, performing on ABC's Comedy Bites, triple j's Good Az Friday, landing a gig writing jokes for Channel 10's The Project and appearing in the show's sketches, as well as being selected to perform internationally on Carnival Cruise Lines and Celebrity Cruises. In 2018 Michael toured his new show Kosher Bacon to sold out crowds in Perth, Adelaide and Melbourne to rave reviews. In 2019 he performed his biggest tour yet with 50/50, his darkest and funniest show yet, chronicling his diagnosis and treatment for testicular cancer.

Patrick Monahan
Winner of ITV's Show Me The Funny, this half-Iranian, half-Middlesbrough comic is a rising star on the comedy circuit. Full of an insatiable lust for life, his exuberant comedy greets the audience like a sex-starved spaniel would greet a trouser leg. In 2012 he took part in Let’s Dance for Sports Relief on BBC, won Best Newcomer at the Loaded LAFTA Awards and Forth Radio Best Stand-Up People’s Choice Award for his hit show ‘Hug Me I Feel Good’. He played the role of the dastardly Captain Hook in ‘The Pantomime Adventures of Peter Pan’ at the Worthing Pavilion from December 2016 to early Jan 2017. A natural-born performer, he exudes charisma from the stage (and often off it, when he scuttles into the crowd...!)
