The Chelsea Arts Festival‘s Comedy Gala fundraiser comes to Cadogan Hall. This promises to be a Saturday evening filled with laughter featuring a stellar lineup of stand up comedians, including, Sindhu Vee (Sex Education, BBC Live At The Apollo, QI, Mock The Week), Michael Odewale (Live at The Apollo, Cunk on Earth, Live from the Moth Club), Lloyd Griffith (Return To Paradise, Ted Lasso, Live At The Apollo) and more performers to be announced over the next few weeks. This event will raise funds to support those in creative industries.

Sindhu Vee is an award-winning comedian, writer, and actor. Since swapping a career in investment banking for comedy, Sindhu has landed roles in numerous high-profile television series and films while completing several successful comedy tours in the UK, India, and the US. As a critically acclaimed stand-up comedian, Sindhu has appeared twice on BBC Two’s Live At The Apollo, most recently as the host. She has also been a guest on top British panel shows, including Mock the Week (BBC Two), QI (BBC Two), Have I Got News For You (BBC One), and Would I Lie to You? (BBC One). Sindhu is currently staring alongside Simone Ashley in Amazon Prime’s rom-com Picture This.

Emmy nominated & BAFTA winning Writer / Performer, Michael Odewale has fast gained recognition for his distinctive comic style. A fresh and unfiltered voice known for delivering sharp and beautifully executed content, his debut show #BlackBearsMatter won Best Show at both the 2019 Leice

Sindhu Vee

Born and brought up in India, Sindhu Vee is now based in London and splits her time between comedy and raising her three children – and gigantic labrador. She was nominated for best newcomer at the 2018 Edinburgh Comedy Awards and made the finals of the BBC New Comedy Awards in 2016.

Lloyd Griffith

Lloyd started comedy in 2009 and now performs regularly on professional nights at comedy clubs all across the UK. His confidence and ability to easily engage with the audience has earned him a number of compering residencies, including Get Up Stand Up in London and Therapy Rooms Comedy Club in Tunbridge Wells. 'Inherently funny: voice of an angel' body of a trucker... very neat lines in his comic repertoire' (Steve Bennett, Chortle) '... the next big thing’(FHM) 'There's no doubt about it; Lloyd Griffith is the king of the unexpected. Michael Odewale

Michael Odewale says he covers 'important issues such as racism, politics and pigeons' in his comedy. He was finalist in both the Chortle Student Comedy Award and the BBC New Comedy Award in 2016.
