January Blues Festival 2026

Ten Years After

Originally formed in the summer of 1968 by Alvin Lee (vocals and guitar), Leo Lyons (bass), Ric Lee (drums) and Chick Churchill (keyboards), the band didn't follow the fashion of flower power but instead went down the route of electric stage shows mixing blues, boogie and country to blistering effect. With three top 5 albums and epic 11-minute performance of Goin' Home at the Woodstock festival, Ten Years After were one of the top blues rock acts. In 2013, Leo Lyons and Joe Gooch were replaced with Colin Hodgkinson and Marcus Bonfanti respectively. Joined by original member Ric Lee, the band continues to tour.
