About the show
Mike Peters, lead singer of The Alarm passed away nine months ago on April 29th 2025 after a shock diagnosis of Richters Syndrome, a rare and aggressive lymphoma.
Mike lived out his final year following his diagnosis with an unrivalled positivity, performing over 40 shows, writing a brand new Alarm album, all whilst undergoing gruelling chemotherapy and pioneering CAR T Therapy at the world famous Christie Hospital CAR T was Mike's hope for a cure and new beginnings.
Throughout his 31 years living with leukaemia, Mike never gave up without a fight; channelling his eternal belief of 'love hope and strength' through his charity foundation of the same name, right to the very end. Saving lives one concert at a time.
Mike's dying wishes were for his son Evan, aged 19 to continue his legacy and take The Alarm forwards into the future.
Evan explains. "My first gig was aged 3 months old when my Dad organised a concert on the top of the Empire State Building, New York, in aid of our charity Love Hope Strength as a fundraiser before leading a hike to Everest in 2007, the year I was born!
The Alarm is in my DNA. I've lived and breathed it all my life, on tour across the USA and Europe.
I'm looking forward to touring The Alarm, promoting the new album 'Transformation' which I played drums on and next year twenty years on, I'm leading a hike back to Everest, Nepal on behalf of our charity.
