The Victorians, however, turned this parlour and party entertainment into an institution and expectation.

Jerome K Jerome, famed author of Three Men in a Boat, perfectly parodies this spooky and popular amusement with these comic horror stories.

Gav Cross (a true storyteller – the physique, the round end- of- nose spectacles and the roaring voice) will invite us all to enjoy, participate and indulge in this evening of classic ‘tales of the unexpected’.
