Get ready for a night of unstoppable rhythm as the London Afrobeat Collective brings their electrifying, genre-blending sound to Llangollen Fringe! This eight-piece global group fuses afrobeat, hi-life, funk, jazz, Latin, and dub into a powerful, high-energy show that’s impossible to resist.

Known for storming stages from Glastonbury to Lagos, LAC delivers vibrant, dance-inducing grooves and multilingual, socially conscious lyrics. Their latest album Esengo (“Joy” in Lingala) is a bold celebration of rhythm, unity, and movement.

Support comes from MWSOG, an eight-piece collective from South Wales. Steeped in folklore and mysticism, they blend traditional Welsh folk with psychedelic textures, crafting spellbinding performances often sung in Welsh. After a standout debut at All Roads Festival and a sold-out headline at Cardiff’s Globe, MWSOG is a rising force in psych-folk.
