Join us for a special co-headline evening of bold, boundary-pushing folk from two of the most exciting acts on the scene today.
Filkin’s Drift weave English dance tunes and Welsh folk songs into rich, intricate compositions shaped by their 870-mile walking tour across the UK. With fiddle, guitar, and “gorgeous close vocal harmonies” (Folk Radio UK), they deliver emotionally resonant performances described as “utterly mesmerising” (Bristol 24/7). Regulars on BBC Radio and major folk festivals, their work is at the cutting edge of sustainable touring and orchestral-folk innovation.
Taff Rapids bring a high-octane blend of bluegrass tradition and modern flair, mixing Appalachian drive with Welsh-language originals. As the first Welsh band invited to IBMA World of Bluegrass in the US, their international rise has been meteoric. Expect tight harmonies, jaw-dropping instrumental skill, and infectious energy.
