Soulful laidback sounds fronted by Joseph Macwan, Leicester's Out of Karma is a way of life and the band represents that in the mixture of sounds and influences. From the rhythm section of Malcolm D’Sa and Suraj Kika providing the drums and the bass backbone to the edgy guitar licks of Chris Topham to the percussive nuances of Ameer Hosseinbucus aka Bongoman, and Katharine Friedmann flavouring the vibes on keyboard and saxophone, the eclectic souls have united to form a living whole.
