Leek’s Most Welcoming Vinyl Night is Back for 2026!
For the DJs: Your Journey Into Wax Spinning Starts Here
Get ready to experience the unique sound of real records! Strictly Wax is kicking off the new year with our third open deck event and we’re celebrating our first time at the legendary The Black Swan, affectionately known as The Mucky Duck!
If you’ve ever been curious about DJing, or just love the warm sound of wax this is the night for you. We’ve created a zero-pressure space for all experience levels to share their passion.
Calling All Newcomers: Thinking about trying DJing? This is the perfect place! We provide professional gear in a supportive, friendly environment. No setlists, no judging, just pure inclusive fun.
Open Format, Pure Vinyl: Bring your favourite records! Whether it’s indie, funk, house, or hip-hop we welcome all genres. Just the sight, smell and sound of vinyl!
30-Minute Slots: Plenty of time to build confidence, find your rhythm and make the crowd move.
Professional Kit, Easy Access: Spin wax on top tier gear: Technics 1210 mk7s decks, Ortofon Concorde Club mk2 stylus and a Pioneer DJM750 mk2 mixer. All you need is your vinyl and headphones!
How to Reserve Your Slot: DM us now @strictlywaxevents or call 07729766654. Spaces are limited, secure your spot behind the decks!
Not spinning? Come feel the magic of vinyl! This is more than a club night; it’s a celebration of the format.

Strictly Wax
Strictly Wax is a vinyl-only DJ collective and event platform built on a simple belief: real music lives on vinyl. We champion the culture, craft and the unmatched sound of analogue DJing — spinning records the way it was always meant to be done: stylus to groove, hand to platter, soul to speaker. There’s something sacred about vinyl. The process is slower, the connection is deeper and the result? Warmer, richer, and undeniably human sounds. When the stylus touches the groove, you’re not just hearing music — you’re feeling it. Every beat, bassline and vocal resonates with depth that digital can only try to imitate.
