Funhouse Comedy Club - Comedy Night in Leek September 2025

Funhouse Comedy Club returns to Foxlowe Arts Centre, Leek on Thursday September 4th for more fun and laughter.

Topping the bill is the intelligent, controversially witty, hip and silly Markus Birdman, who got to semis of last year's ‘Britain’s Got Talent’. Regarded by many in the know as one of the best circuit acts in the country, he has toured internationally and had highly acclaimed shows at the Edinburgh Festival. His dandyish onstage confidence, versatility and infectious nature result in a truly absorbing performance.

Opening the night will be the charming comedian, actor and writer Alistair Barrie. Travelling all over the world to perform he has appeared at the world's highest gig on a mountain in France and on a boat in the middle of the North Sea. With his riotously acerbic, achingly funny diatribe he persuades his audience to be part of his world, leaving them wanting for more.

Also appearing is Harry Jenkins who likes to push the boundaries with his intriguing sagas and was crowned winner of Funhouse Comedy's Champions' Special Gong Show.

Completing the line-up will be Alfie Carter with his funny bones and wondrous imagination.
