Mobb Deep
Mobb Deep are one of the most successful hardcore rap acts ever, yet also one of the most uncompromising. Their lyrics paint a harshly realistic picture of New York street life, backed up by a distinctive production style that's haunting and hard-hitting in equal measure. Since their second album 'The Infamous' went gold they've been selling a lot of records, with 1999's 'Murda Muzik' going platinum. The sales seem unlikely to let up, and neither does Mobb Deep's commitment to the music they believe in.

TaJuan Akeem Perry, better known by his stage name, Big Noyd, is an American rapper from Queens, New York. He is closely affiliated with Mobb Deep, and he is featured on all of their albums except Blood Money.
